Leaders often wait for clarity before acting. Yet clarity is rare. Most of the time, the road ahead is covered in fog.
Good drivers do not stop until the fog clears. They turn on their headlights and move forward carefully, seeing only the next two hundred feet. Leaders can do the same. Take the step you can see, then the next.
Courage is not eliminating fog. It is learning to move safely through it. Teams need leaders who can travel without perfect visibility.
At Home
Families navigate fog as well. Parents rarely see the full path for children, careers, or health. They guide by taking the next right step, trusting that the way forward will appear gradually.
Your question: What decision are you postponing for lack of clarity, and what is the next two hundred feet you could travel today?
